  Polylactic acid(PLA) is a biodegradable plastic made up of renewable natural resources and therefore respects the environment.
  It has good mechanical strength and a low retraction, making it printable even without a heated bed. Its natural glossy finish makes    it suitable for every application.
  In addition, FiloAlfa’s PLA is completely non-toxic and odorless until high temperature.

The physical characteristics of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene make it a very light and durable material with excellent rigidity and low temperature resistance.

Moreover, FiloAlfa ABS can be easily post processed using solvents: thanks to the acetone vapors, excellent glossy and smooth surface finishes can be obtained.

FiloAlfa HIPS is an easy to print High Impact Polystyrene filament dedicated to various applications.

It is suitable for very detailed and/or large prints, due to its very limited deformation. In addition, the particular aesthetic finishing results in a very smooth surface and opaque colors.

Moreover, FiloAlfa HIPS is very light and durable, and presents a good adhesion between the layers. It can be easily post processed: glued, sanded and varnished.

Its solubility in Limonene also makes it an excellent material for supports, especially in combination with ABS.

FiloAlfa recommends HIPS for building architectural models and lost wax technique.

                             CONDUCTIVE PLA  – Ø 1,75 MM – 250 Gr

 

ALFAOHM is the conductive PLA by FiloAlfa.
This revolutionary material, developed in conjunction with LATI, is capable of conducting electricity.
ALFAOHM is the perfect material for the production of components that need to carry electricity and can be printed simply with any 3D printer.
Characterized by a resistivity of about 15 ohm/cm along the layers and 20 ohm/cm perpendicular to the layers, AlfaOhm is completely non-toxic and odorless till high temperatures.
FiloAlfa recommends ALFAOHM for conductive models.

WARNING: AlfaOhm is a charged filament, so it is recommended to clean the extruder after use to avoid clogging with other materials.

FiloAlfa FILOFlex 80A is a highly durable and tear resistant material that keeps its high degree of elasticity unchanged over time.
Moreover, the engineered FiloAlfa TPU is resistant to a wide range of industrial oils, greases, alkalis, acids and many other industrial chemicals.
The TPU of which FILOFlex 80A has excellent mechanical resistance to abrasion, impact, laceration and chemistry to oils and greases. It also has a wide range of operating temperatures.
Its stiffness of 80 shore / A is comparable to that of the heels and soles of the shoes.
FiloAlfa recommends FILOFlex 80A for grips, claddings and orthopedic insoles.

FiloAlfa FILOFlex 90A is a flexible TPU based filament. This material has been specifically designed to be easily printed compared to the softest 80 A.
FiloAlfa FILOFlex 90A is a highly wear-resistant and tear-resistant material that keeps its high degree of elasticity unchanged over time.
Moreover, the engineered FiloAlfa TPU is resistant to a wide range of industrial oils, greases, alkalis, acids and many other industrial chemicals.
The TPU of which FILOFlex 90A has excellent mechanical resistance to abrasion, impact, laceration and chemistry to oils and greases. It also has a wide range of operating temperatures.
Its stiffness of 90 shore/A is comparable to the one of cart wheels.
FiloAlfa recommends FILOFlex 90A for gaskets, prostheses and shock absorbers.

  THERMEC™ ZED is a thermoplastic 3d printing filament among the most noble and performing. 


It has excellent processability, guarantees reduced printing times and exceptional results in terms of mechanical properties and chemical resistance.  
There are no solvents known to attack it under 200°C.
It also features excellent adhesion between layers, preventing delamination and ensuring minimum warping during the printing process (less than ABS).

THERMEC™ ZED is an excellent alternative to PEEK but much easier to print.
